The journal was founded in 1957 as "Plant Breeding Acclimatization and Seed Science" in the Plant Breeding and Acclimatization Institute (since 2010 Plant Breeding and Acclimatization Institute- National Research Institute) since the issue of 40 (in 1996) published under the name "Plant Breeding and Seed Science". The magazine was created to support researchers, plant breeders, advisory services, activists of agricultural chambers, agricultural producers and associations of producers, seed producers and distributors, teachers of agricultural schools, enthusiasts of science and breeding. "Plant Breeding and Seed Science" publishes semi-annual scientific articles on the improvement and protection of agricultural crops, biotechnology, gene resource conservation and agricultural plant development. |
