[CBNPMP-Thématique] Plantes subspontanées, naturalisées, envahissantesRésumé : This publication summarises results for a selection of Europe's native species of vascular plants. In total 1,826 vascular plant species have been assessed from the following groups: species listed on European or international policy instruments, selected priority crop wild relatives, and aquatic plant species. Of those at least 467 species are threatened with extinction. The main threats for the three groups are intensified livestock framing, recreational activities, tourism and urban development, wild plant collection, invasive alien species, natural system modifications and pollution. Titre : Wolffia columbiana and W. globosa (Araceae) new to Britain Type de document : Numérique Auteurs : Richard V. Lansdown ; Geoffrey Kitchener ; Evan Jones Année de publication : 2022 Article en page(s) : 14-26 Langues : Anglais (eng) Catégories : [CBNPMP-Thématique] Plantes subspontanées, naturalisées, envahissantes Mots-clés : Wolffia columbiana Wolffia globosa Résumé : In the course of surveys of ditches in the Pevensey Levels in October 2021, a large population of the non-native Wolffia columbiana H. Karst. was found, new to Britain. Subsequent investigation showed W. columbiana to be widespread on the Pevensey and Gwent Levels and present in other grazing marsh ditch complexes in Somerset, West Sussex and Kent, while W. globosa (Roxb.) Hartog & Plas was also found in the Gwent Levels. This paper describes the known distribution of W. columbiana in Britain, provides information on identification of different Wolffia species and considers the implications of this discovery for conservation of the native W. arrhiza (L.) Horkel ex Wimm. Identifiant : DOI : 10.33928/bib.2022.04.014 Permalink : https://biblio.cbnpmp.fr/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=147489
